1st Wave Technologies LLC operates this website. This page explains what the site collects, why, and what happens to it. It is written plainly on purpose.
This site does not use cookies
No tracking cookies, no advertising pixels, no cross-site tracking, and no third-party marketing scripts. Nothing here follows you to other websites, and there is no cookie banner because there are no cookies to consent to.
What the contact form collects
If you fill out the contact form, it collects the name, company, email address, current system, and message you choose to enter. That information is delivered to chris.carlock@1stwavetech.com and stored by our hosting provider so the message is not lost in transit.
It is used for one thing: to respond to you. It is not sold, rented, shared with advertisers, or added to a marketing list. There is no newsletter.
Analytics
The site uses privacy-focused, cookieless analytics that report aggregate information only — how many people visited, which pages they viewed, general region, and what referred them. This data does not identify individual visitors and is not combined with any other information.
Server logs
Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which typically include IP address, browser type, and pages requested. These are generated automatically by the hosting infrastructure, used for security and reliability, and retained by the provider under its own policies.
Service providers
A small number of services are involved in running this site and its email:
- Website hosting and contact form delivery
- Business email and calendar
- Cookieless website analytics
- Web fonts served by a third-party font provider
Each handles data under its own privacy terms. None of them receive information from us for advertising purposes.
Retention
Contact form messages are kept as long as they are useful for the correspondence or an ongoing engagement, and deleted when they are not. If you would like a message you sent removed, ask and it will be.
Your choices
You can email to ask what information is held about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. There is no account to close and nothing to unsubscribe from. Residents of California and other jurisdictions with similar laws may have additional rights regarding personal information; the same email address handles those requests.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it.
